It started out when she was probably only 15 or 16.  I was on the computer working or playing games, or just something, and she was talking to me about random stuff. Truthfully, I was only half way listening to what she was saying, probably going, Umm hmmm, yeah, ahhh, and so forth.  You know us parents sometimes do, right? Well, she started talking about this boy named Josh that she and her friends hung out with on occasion, just nonchalantly, like it was no big deal.  I hadn't heard much about him really.  She told me that he was leaving for Tennessee soon and it was good because they were better off as friends because they would probably just cheat on each other or some nonsense ... kind of crazy things.   There goes another of one of my haha's thrown in there so she would think I was really listening.  Anyhow, I heard her voice kind of catch and a kind of "wounded" sound in her voice as she continued to talk about this boy Josh that she wasn't going to miss at all, and it immediately caught my attention and I almost froze.  Instead, I turned around and said, "Oh my God, you love him, don't you, don't you?!".  She said something like, oh no mom, we're just friends and we're better off as friends.  I kept looking at her and I KNEW that it was more than that! And it's funny because I remember thinking at that moment, she is going to MARRY this boy!!  I don't know how I knew, but I just knew, just like I did when my son asked me to babysit for his young girlfriend who had a four month old baby.  

Anyhow, she started crying, and we talked, and we said that maybe he wouldn't leave, or she could go see him or something.  It was such an emotional moment for both of us; little does she probably realize that it was for me as well.  I felt so bad for her and my full attention was on what she was saying.  I could just feel how much she was hurting and how much she was going to miss him if he left.  It had been a long time since I had seen her in that much pain, and none of that type.

Well, as it turned out, "Josh" never moved back out of state, he stayed around and they started dating and they are married today with three children of their own!

GILLETTE® FUSION PROGLIDE RAZOR & 2-IN-1 SHAVE GEL

First of all, while I was waiting on my cool new FREE Razor and Shave Gel from Gillette to show up, I was wondering how well it would work, would it feel good in my hand as I shaved, would the shave gel smell good or would it be one of those semi sickly kind of smells that shave gels seem to have.  I waited with anticipation for THE DAY to arrive!  Drum roll ... I heard the Postman drive up and I anxiously went outside to meet him.  I nearly snatched my Bzzagent box from him and half ran in the door to open it up.  I did my video unboxing and out came my products!  I immediately went to the bathroom to begin THE SHAVING!  But first, I had to stop and marvel at the design of the razor!  Wow! Wow! It LOOKED like a razor that someone with money must use, because it was kind of sleek, the blade bent back to accommodate the curve and shape of my face and legs, and it actually ROTATED side to side!!   I guess I wasn't expecting that. AND the blades were sharp, almost so sharp that I about nicked my thumb before getting started. I thought I had broken it when I pressed down and the blade POPPED off, but it hadn't.

I got a little gel on my hand, and much to much pleasant surprise, the gel smelled GREAT!  I had received the Ocean Breeze Shave Gel.  It has a good feel to it and lathered up NICELY!  It wasn't irritating to the skin, which is the experience I have had with some shave creams.

I began to shave my legs and the blade just glided over my legs with the combination of the very excellent shave gel and very excellent razor!  Needless to say, but I will, I was totally impressed by both of these products and I felt like I had just entered into "the shaving experience" of my lifetime. Then, to top it all off, I saw that there was a $5 off coupon in the package that I could towards purchasing another one.  And believe me, I WILL.

This was a cute little ebook about a little girl named Brooklet. She loves her little monkey pants and does NOT want to go to bed! She doesn't listen to her mom. It seems fun at first, but then she misses her home  and her family and she wants to go back. Day by Day Blotting Papers

Facial Blotting Paper (Day by Day Beauty) from Tomoson.com came in the mail FREE to do a product review on.  There were two packages in a classy elegant container that was impressive.  On the back it showed you how to get a future 20% off the product by signing up to their site which I thought was good use of a small package, a great way to involve you in their product and make a potential future sale!  I admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this seemingly, somewhat insignificant detail.  Then, when I opened the package, it had printed on it, "Hello Beautiful".  That was a sweet little surprise and very product-friendly and made me feel as though they cared about my beauty routine and their product. It certainly gave me a sweet little feeling like "Ahaaa!"   I have to admit, I'm liking the packaging on this product and what I call their message.

The paper was absorbent, no problem with that at all,  I used it on my face, as you see because I was sweating a bit, but also had some excess moisturizer on my face that needed to be absorbed.  It worked just fine.  It was an experience since I had never really used blotting papers in the past.  It just didn't seem like something I would want or need.  But it was kind of odd to open up the package and feel like I was grabbing out a roll-up cigarette paper!

 I had never in my life considered really using blotting papers because I didn't see any real reason to when I could just use a napkin or tissue, but I may now.  And if I do, I will by these blotting papers, mainly because of the fact that they put a lot of thought and detail into their packaging and conveyed the idea that they really DO know beauty.  I would have to take advantage of the 20% off because I think they are just a bit too pricey, at least for me. Others may disagree with that, but that is my idea.

First, I want to say that I received the best FREE NEW PRODUCT that I have tried in a very long time from a website called Bzzagent.com.  They gave me the opportunity to try this product FREE just to review it and make it a post about it.  Well, just because it was free did NOT influence my glowing review on it.  I mean, that's the whole point ... to make an honest assessment of this product, good OR bad.  Well, I know this product is a 2-part whitening and better oral health product that is supposed to work within a week.  Truthfully, I was just a little skeptical about that claim.   That just seemed like a very short time to me when I would have thought more like a FEW weeks.  Well, you know what??  I tried this product for a week, but within LESS than a week, I had already begun to realize that my overall health of mouth had improved; I never had morning breath, and my teeth were definitely looking whiter.

I would probably never have gone out and bought this product if I had seen it on the shelf, partially because I thought it would be "too complicated" to use, having two items, not just one.  I had also thought the price was higher than I wanted to spend.  But, it is NOT too complicated, and goodness, it is NOT too expensive, especially considering the absolutely fantastic results that I have received, along with a couple of comments from family ... one who knew I was using this and one who did not.

I am a SOLD customer now on Crest Pro Health HD, and I will brag about it!

I have just begun to use my Crest Pro Health HD, but I can already tell a difference in just a few short days.  First of all, this is a two-step process in which you use to get a much healthier mouth and much whiter teeth (6x more!). It only takes TWO SHORT MINUTES to achieve this too.  My grandson said something looked a little different about me, and I thought he was joking or noticed that I had colored my hair, but he said that wasn't it.  He asked if I had been brushing my teeth!  lol  Well, I told him yes, just the same amount, but with something totally new, and that was the difference.  He asked if he could try it too.  Well, of course he can.  In fact, the whole family is now using this.  I am on the search for coupons for this product.

I never have had morning breath too often, but on occasion I did.  Now that I am using Crest Pro Health HD, I do NOT have morning breath at all! I have a dental appointment soon, and I called my dentist to see if using this product REALLY could make a difference in a healthier mouth, and he said yes, absolutely!  He told me to think about it ... your mouth takes in good and bad things at times, and if you have bad oral hygiene that it can have an affect on your overall health, even if you don't realize it or think you notice it.  That's interesting, and I really never had in all my life thought about it that way.

I will keep using Crest Pro Health HD and you should too.

Quaker Steel Cut Oatmeal

This is just one MORE of the items that I got free from a product review site called BzzAgent.  Not only did I get a box of Quaker Oatmeal from them, I got FOUR $2.00 coupons!   The grandchildren love it! I was excited when I got this product to review because my grandsons LOVE oatmeal, even the pickiest one. Well, this was a new kind that they hadn't eaten, so they were excited too, especially knowing we had gotten this product FREE.  We tried a bowl, and we all agreed that this was a GREAT oatmeal.  We are going to buy this oatmeal from now on; partially because of the great taste, but also because there is something cool in knowing that we were given the opportunity to try it for free, learn about it and share it with other people.
I have to admit, this is the funnest review that I have done so far! I involved my grandson in this one, or he involved himself, as you can see.  Mr. Product Reviewer, Cameron, jumped right on in and helped me out here while his Momma and I were watching. Oh my goodness! 
 I was unboxing my Quaker Cut Steel Oatmeal and my grandson wanted to see.  He saw my box of oatmeal and said, "I want some! Let me help you Granny! Can I hold everything?  He had seen how excited I had gotten when I opened the box and explained what all was in it. 

After I had taken a couple of photos of my product and the four $2 coupons, and he had finished eating his new oatmeal, he insisted on "helping" me tell "those people" how good it was and how much fun he and his Granny were having opening up the box and eating the oatmeal!  
Later on my daughter and her husband went grocery shopping and they only had to pay 88 cents for a box with each of these $2 off coupons!

                  I made it onto the Truly Radiant website with my review!  

I absolutely loved the toothbrush the most out of all of this.  I love the longer, deep-reaching bristles and the so very cool rotating head.  I've always thought there should be a toothbrush along those lines!  The mouthwash was just the right size so that I could put it easily in the dash of my car, even my purse and a number of other places that a super sized bottle would not work.  Then, of course, there is the toothpaste.  I can't stand those toothpastes that burn your mouth (??), and you are scrambling around to rinse out, and you just never enjoy the brushing experience as a result.  Thanks so much, Smiley 360 for these super awesome products!  You can buy these products on Amazon.com too!

InkJoy Pens - Review

I received this these Inkjoy Pens for FREE for a product review for Smiley360.com  I was expecting a small package of probably two or three, but instead, it was a package of eight multi-colored pens!  I was thrilled at the variety of colors, first of all.  Then, when I tried a couple of them out, I loved the way that they felt in my hand.  I'm funny when it comes to the pen that I use.  It has to have a certain feel in my hand, and these pens passed the test 100%!  Not only did I get the pens free, I received a $5.00 Wal-Mart gift certificate as well so that I could buy some more!  And I did.  This is a quality product, and I'm over-joyed to be receiving my first item from Smiley360.com for review!

Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts - Review

These salts LOOK refreshing!

This is my very first review on this blog for a product called "Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts". I am very excited to be doing my first review! I'm sure in time that I will do many more reviews and will make a blog specifically for reviews, freebies and much more.

I received this product from a website, Tomoson.com. The first thing that hit me when I received my product was that it was a such a large bag of bath salts, 1.75 pounds! I was impressed by that. It also came in a resealable pouch which was extremely convenient. 
I have bought bath salts that came in a box and got wet too easily. I was also impressed by their statement under the description, "Much Higher Mineral Concentration than Epsom Salt!" But when I went to look at the product content, there was NO list of ingredients in the package at all! I found that odd and even a bit disturbing too! I was also a little put off by bag, while being "sturdy", it was just plain, nothing elegant or eye-catching, almost like an over grown Ziplock bag with a label on it! I was impressed at how quickly the bath salts did dissolve, as some that I have bought have not dissolved quickly and would sit on the bottom of the tub feeling gritty and grainy. This was not the case with these bath salts.

There was no unpleasant fragrance that I have found in some bath salts, or an overpowering perfumy smell that smells unnaturally strong. My skin felt soft and pampered. My daughter though, said she has used the bath salts a lot and afterwards, while her skin will feel soft, it itches a bit. Someone must be enjoying the salts a lot as the bag is disappearing quickly!
